FARMERS

The Molokai Homestead Farmers Alliance (MHFA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that serves homestead farmers and non-homestead farmers.  These farmers work together to create and develop opportunities for their members such as providing education on how to organically plant and grow specialty crops.  This project provided guidance to the farmers on organic production of butternut squash and kalo (taro), two specialty crops that were not grown on Molokai.
