OUR HISTORY

In 2005, a group of homestead farmers created Molokai Homestead Farmers Alliance (MHFA).  We organized to advocate for the protection of water rights for homestead farmers, evolving to all farmers in commercial operations and subsistence farming.  Since 2005, we have provided education to our farmers and community by updating them on laws pertaining to food and safety, water issues, certifications, agriculture laws, training, and innovative technology tools for farmers to expand their produce and product.
